About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Fort Worth, TX. In this driving post, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct vehicle and/or foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers entering or exiting the distribution location.
- Maintain access records and coordinate visitor, vehicle, and delivery entry in accordance with established procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting security-related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Qualifications
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Pay
$17.25 / hour
