Job Description
As a Security Officer Corporate Access Control in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor management processes in alignment with location policies and financial industry expectations.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
