About the role

Award-winning Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Concierge Desk in Syracuse, NY. This role serves and safeguards clients in various industries, including financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and manage front desk activity
• Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify credentials, and deter unauthorized access
• Answer questions, direct guests, maintain logs, and communicate with staff
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally
• Support emergency response activities as needed

Requirements

• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a background investigation and drug screen
• Licenses may be required based on state and local laws
• Valid driver's license for driving positions
