Security Officer - Community College Campus
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a dynamic educational facility, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, entrances, service roads, and perimeter points, to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor vehicle traffic, delivery activity, and/or restricted areas within the location, helping to support orderly operations and compliance with site policies.
- Complete routine reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and relay relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
