Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, monitoring access activity, and supporting security-related operations for an educational location.
• Greet students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors, verify identification and/or visitor information, and help direct individuals according to site policies and front desk protocols.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, campus contacts, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Monitor lobby and entry areas, document daily activities and unusual events, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent observation and adherence to post instructions.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including providing information, assisting with access control measures, and following location-specific instructions during incidents and/or disruptions.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
