Security Officer – Commercial Building Lobby Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer – Commercial Building Lobby Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a professional services location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, support access control activities, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, helping to maintain an orderly professional environment.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred qualifications:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.

Schedule

• Part Time
• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Pay

$17.00 / Hour
