Security Officer - Commercial

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer to build meaningful connections and provide exceptional customer service in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

About the role

As a Concierge Security Officer, you will focus on customer service while ensuring safety and security through observation, reporting, and rapid response. The role requires physical stamina for foot patrols and the ability to enforce procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service as a top priority
• Observe, survey, and report activity at the assigned location
• Provide rapid response in critical situations
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols throughout your shift
• Read and write detailed reports
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards
• Protect employees and goods from theft through screening, bag searches, wanding, and access control
• Attention to detail may qualify you for incentives discussed during the interview

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (GED)
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
• Physical stamina to remain on your feet throughout the shift and handle various weather conditions
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid PILB (Nevada Private Investigator’s License) in hand
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Full-time positions available across multiple shifts:

• Shift 1 (Day): 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Wednesday to Saturday / 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Sunday
• Shift 2 (Day): 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Wednesday to Saturday / 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Sunday
• Shift 3 (Swing): 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Friday to Tuesday
• Shift 4 (Swing): 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Friday to Tuesday
• Shift 5 (Grave): 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday to Friday
• Shift 6 (Grave): 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday to Thursday
• Shift 7 (Grave): 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday to Thursday
• Shift 8 (Day/Swing/Grave Mix): 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday & Tuesday / 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Wednesday & Thursday / 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday
• Shift 9 (Day/Swing/Grave Mix): 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday & Tuesday / 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Wednesday & Thursday / 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday
• Location Mix (Swing/Day): 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Saturday / 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $16.50 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.
