Security Officer Clearance Required Part Time

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Waynesboro, VA, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; assist with visitor management and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$23.69 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
