About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location in King Of Prussia, PA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position supports a dynamic environment through routine patrols, incident reporting, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
