Security Officer Patrol Driver Clearance Required
About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver at Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify entry permissions in accordance with site protocols, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or visitor activity as required.
- Support restricted area control, badge compliance, and escort procedures for visitors and/or vendors while following location guidelines and post instructions.
Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
