Security Officer Clearance Required Dispatch Operations

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Dispatch Operations) in King of Prussia, PA to serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. The role involves coordinating communications, monitoring alarm and access activity, dispatching resources, documenting events, and providing professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and urgent service calls, alarms, and incident notifications to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communication systems, maintain accurate dispatch logs, and document incidents, requests, and follow‑up actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting observed irregularities and conditions requiring attention.

Requirements

• Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Clearance (verification required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 + years for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with access control systems and badge management.
• Experience with alarm panel systems.
• Proficiency using computers or tablets.
• Current CPR certification.
• Customer service experience.

Pay

$28.58 per hour (Full‑time).

Schedule

• Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
