As a Security Officer Certified Armed Patrol Driver in Weslaco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff at a busy retail location.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help deter theft, disorderly conduct, and/or unauthorized access while maintaining a professional presence.
- Assist with security-related responses involving alarms, suspicious activity, trespassing, and/or emergency situations while following post orders and local procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

- Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
