- Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a cultural institution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, public areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Maintain visitor flow, assist with directional guidance, and report conditions that could affect daily operations, valuable collections, and/or restricted areas.
- Support access control and security-related screening practices for designated spaces, helping to confirm that only authorized individuals enter staff-only and collection-related areas.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Able to provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
