What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a cultural institution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, public areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for maintenance or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry points, visitor flow, and/or restricted areas while assisting with directions, answering questions, and documenting security-related incidents or observations.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with site contacts, assisting with crowd management, and following post orders during evacuations and/or other urgent events.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
