Security Officer Building Access Control

As a Security Officer Building Access Control in Orange, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and activity at the location, report suspicious behavior, and document incidents, observations, and/or policy violations according to site expectations.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay

$21.00 / Hour

Schedule

Day Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
