What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
  • Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, screening visitors and deliveries, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records for the facility.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, docks, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations by observing inbound and outbound traffic, documenting security-related concerns, and communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
