Security Officer Badging Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Santa Fe Springs, CA as an Access Control Officer (Security Officer Badging Driver). In this driving post, you will monitor entry and exit activity, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site operations with strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access, identify unusual activity, and observe conditions that may require follow-up.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Security-related experience of 2+ years is required.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.00 / Hour
