About the role

As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Spartanburg, SC, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting access control and responding to site needs. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$14.00 / Hour

• Day shift: Saturday, 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Day shift: Sunday, 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
