Security Officer

Position Summary

The Security Officer is primarily responsible for the safety of patients, guests, and employees, and the protection of property. They patrol assigned areas and alert for safety hazards, guest difficulties, accidents, disorderly persons, theft, assaultive behaviors, or other situations or conditions which may affect the overall security of the organization.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent- required
  Associate Degree in Criminology, Psychology, or related field- preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of security, law enforcement, military, or other related security experience- required.
  Please Note: Graduation from an approved law enforcement academy will be considered in lieu of experience.
