About the role
As an Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Big Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule using our Claim a Shift platform. You will drive throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns professionally. You will also provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, and policy violations, and document incidents through accurate reports.
- Carry and maintain an assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal standards, licensing requirements, and applicable laws.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$18.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Wednesday: 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Thursday: 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
