As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Taylorsville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
  • Maintain awareness of authorized movement throughout the location and monitor access to controlled areas, verifying credentials as required.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting procedures.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with site-specific requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Qualifications

  • Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
