About the role
As an Armed Vehicle Access Driver in El Dorado, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. You will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide professional customer service, respond to security-related concerns, and support a reliable team.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical facility by verifying credentials, authorizations, visitor registrations, and delivery documentation.
- Operate access-control systems, maintain accurate entry and exit records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
Requirements
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Possess a guard card or license (preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Pay
$22.00 / hour
