Security Officer Armed Vehicle Access Driver

About the role

As an Armed Vehicle Access Driver in El Dorado, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. You will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical facility by verifying credentials, authorizations, visitor registrations, and delivery documentation.
• Operate access-control systems, maintain accurate entry and exit records, and communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and problem-solving, following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Possess a guard card or license (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$22.00 per hour.

• Tuesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
