As a Security Officer Armed – Site Response in Orangeburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as healthcare. In this healthcare setting you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security‑related concerns with professionalism, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry to restricted areas, supporting a controlled environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• At least six months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
