Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or policy violations.
  • Carry authorized firearm and assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
  • Document observations, patrol activity, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Requirements

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications for this position include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
