About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Linwood, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a food and beverage distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
