Security Officer Armed Patrol Response

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, or hazardous conditions.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions with staff, visitors, and other authorized individuals.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Friday: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Saturday: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
