Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and designated interior areas.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and promptly communicate observations, hazards, and policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
