Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Watcher in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation and contacting local law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for policy compliance, unusual activity, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or customer interactions, and communicate relevant updates with site management and Allied Universal personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
