As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Operate and maintain authorized equipment, including assigned firearms, in accordance with applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$30.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time. Monday and Sunday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
