Security Officer Armed Patrol Emergency Response

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Emergency Response in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while coordinating with facility personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid armed guard card or license, CPR and First Aid certification, and experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton.
