Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Part Time

About the role
As an Armed Patrol Driver Part-Time Security Officer in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You will conduct routine patrols and drive between assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to situations with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
- Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal post orders for armed assignments.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- At least 5 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Preferred: Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

$24.16 / hour
Schedule
- Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
