Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver

About the role
As an Armed Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Maintain awareness of the financial institution environment, report hazards or suspicious activity, and complete required incident reports and daily activity documentation.
Requirements
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Armed guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$32.50 / hour
Schedule
- Tuesday: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Wednesday: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Thursday: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Friday: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Saturday: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
