Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver

About the role
As an Armed Patrol Driver in West Paducah, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide professional customer service at a government location.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a government facility by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, vehicles, deliveries, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrols, incidents, unusual occurrences, and security-related observations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Pepper spray certification preferred.
- Armed guard card or license preferred.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$18.03 / hour
Schedule
- Part-time
- Monday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Tuesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
