Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Detail in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or permissions when required, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Support cash handling and other high-value asset movement procedures when assigned, while following post orders, weapon handling guidelines, and Allied Universal protocols.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Licensing Requirements
- Subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
