Security Officer Armed Patrol Detail

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in New Orleans, LA. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires an armed guard card or license and offers the opportunity to support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed, and document visitor activity, incidents, and observations in required reports.
• Maintain readiness of authorized equipment and communicate promptly with supervisors, property representatives, and emergency responders when needed.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Thursday: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Friday: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
