Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Maintain a visible professional presence, complete accurate activity reports, and support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and site-specific requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as required.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for persons, vehicles, and deliveries entering restricted or controlled areas in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Part-time position available.
