About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Coverage in Alburtis, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted or sensitive areas.
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance concerns, assisting with visitor direction, and following post orders related to property protection and incident response.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and problem-solve during emergencies.
• Knowledge of site-specific policies and emergency response procedures.
