Security Officer Patrol Coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access credentials when required, and document visitor, vendor, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or policy-related observations, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
