As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Schedule & Pay
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour
Schedule: Tuesday 11:00 AM – 08:30 PM, Thursday 11:00 AM – 08:30 PM, Sunday 12:00 PM – 06:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and team members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, helping to deter theft and unauthorized access through visible presence and timely reporting.
- Complete required activity reports and maintain professional communication with site leadership, local authorities, and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
