This is a full‑time position where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, support access control activities, deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to situations with integrity. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a critical technology and communications operations location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access‑control issues to appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site‑specific post orders, and complete required incident documentation.

Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is essential.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Schedule: Monday 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM, Tuesday 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM, Friday 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM, Saturday 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM, Sunday 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM (overnight shift)
