Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a high-traffic retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail fuel and convenience location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, fuel dispensers, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and vehicle activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift communications, while following applicable armed post policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
