Security Officer Armed Part Time Patrol

About the role
As an Armed Part Time Patrol Security Officer in Mount Holly, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to urgent situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report unusual conditions according to site-specific procedures.
- Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site requirements, and complete accurate incident and activity reports.
Requirements
- At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$30.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
