Security Officer Armed Part Time Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Part Time Patrol Readiness in Reston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, reporting unauthorized access attempts and/or suspicious behavior.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol findings, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a DCJS license in Virginia.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Possess CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications for armed roles include a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
