Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government utility facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas; verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.

$21.63 / Hour

Schedule

Daytime, Saturday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Sunday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
