As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, offices, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals and vehicles entering restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public authorities as required.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour. Schedule: Daytime Thursday 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Friday 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM.
