What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by following site-specific procedures, post orders, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, parking areas, receiving zones, and perimeter access points.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, theft-related concerns, and policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious behavior and/or unusual conditions.
• Carry authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with post orders, licensing requirements, and/or Allied Universal policies while interacting professionally with the public and client staff.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
