As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patrons and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, high-traffic areas, and sensitive merchandise locations, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards to site leadership according to post orders.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence, following armed post protocols, and assisting with de-escalation during customer and/or employee concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
