As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Rounds in The Woodlands, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report discrepancies involving personnel, vehicles, or deliveries.
• Maintain an armed presence in assigned areas when required by post duties, following all applicable post orders, training, and legal guidelines while supporting security-related operations.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. A drug screen to the extent permitted by law may also be required.

Pay

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Schedule

Job Schedule DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PM. This role requires a six (6) month commitment to a fixed shift, with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.
