Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-value spaces, verifying access credentials and reporting unusual behavior, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
- Carry authorized armed equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal post instructions while maintaining professional presence and readiness for security-related response duties.
Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and possession of an armed guard card and/or license.
Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
